Lennox AC installation in Las Vegas typically runs $3,500 to $7,500 depending on the model line, your home’s square footage, and whether your existing ductwork can stay. We’re an independent Lennox service provider, which means we install and service the equipment without being tied to manufacturer pricing or corporate install quotas. Most Lennox installations take one full day from arrival to cold air blowing through your vents.
This page is for Las Vegas homeowners who already own a Lennox or are considering one and want straight answers before committing. If you’re dealing with a dead compressor in July or replacing a 14-year-old unit before it dies on a 112-degree day, call (725) 220-3488 and we’ll give you a written price before any work starts.
How Lennox Products Fail – and How We Fix Them
Lennox builds solid equipment, but every brand has patterns. After nearly two decades of service calls across Las Vegas, here’s what we actually see on Lennox systems and what we do about it during installation:
- XC and ELITE series evaporator coil leaks. The copper-aluminum coil joints on older XC21 and EL16XC1 units are prone to pinhole leaks after 8-12 years, especially in Las Vegas where our dry, dusty air forces systems to run harder. During installation, if we find a coil on its way out, we replace it rather than patch it. A patched coil fails again, usually the next summer.
- Merit series capacitor failures during heat waves. The Lennox Merit line (ML14XC1 and similar) uses capacitors that degrade faster in sustained 100+ degree heat. We see these fail most often in late June and early July. When we install a replacement, we spec a capacitor rated for higher ambient temperatures than the factory part. It costs a few dollars more and saves a service call later.
- Signature series communicating system faults. The Lennox Signature line (XC25, XC20) uses the iComfort communicating thermostat and proprietary control boards. When the system throws a communication error, it’s rarely the thermostat. It’s usually a low-voltage wiring issue or a dirty sensor at the condenser. We trace the actual fault rather than throwing parts at the problem.
- Drain pan cracks on older rooftop or horizontal units. Homes in Summerlin and Henderson with horizontal Lennox units in the attic frequently develop cracked drain pans around year 10-12. The plastic gets brittle in attic heat. We catch this during installation inspections because a cracked pan means water where you don’t want it: your ceiling.
- OEM vs aftermarket parts confusion. Lennox warranties cover most parts for 5-10 years, but only if the installing contractor follows Lennox’s installation spec. We use OEM Lennox parts during every installation because aftermarket parts can void the warranty. When an OEM part is backordered, we tell you before we substitute anything.

Our Lennox AC Installation Process
Here’s what a Lennox installation looks like with Halden Heating and Air Las Vegas, from the first call to the final walkthrough:
- 1
Call or book online. A live person answers, day or night. We schedule a time and you get a live arrival tracking link so you know exactly when we’ll pull up.
- 2
System assessment. We measure your square footage, inspect the ductwork, check the electrical panel, and look at the existing Lennox unit. We run a load calculation so we’re not guessing on equipment size.
- 3
Written price. You get a fixed, itemized price before we order anything. No ballpark, no “we’ll see how it goes.” The price is the price.
- 4
Installation day. We remove the old unit, install the new Lennox equipment, connect or replace line sets as needed, and handle the electrical. We photograph everything so you can see exactly what was done.
- 5
System test. We measure airflow, check refrigerant charge (the chemical that actually cools your air), verify the thermostat cycles correctly, and confirm the condenser fires up without issue.
- 6
Guarantee in writing. Every installation is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If something isn’t right, we come back and fix it, free.

AfterWhat Lennox AC Installation Costs in Las Vegas
Most Lennox AC installations in Las Vegas land between $3,500 and $7,500. Where you fall depends on a few things:
- Model line: Merit series (ML14XC1) sits at the lower end. ELITE series (EL18XC1) runs mid-range. Signature series (XC25) with variable-speed technology runs at the top of the range.
- System size: A 2-ton unit for a small condo costs less than a 5-ton unit for a 3,000-square-foot Summerlin house.
- Ductwork condition: If your existing ducts are undersized or leaking, that adds cost. We’ll show you photos of what we found and explain what actually needs to change.
- Line set replacement: Older copper line sets may need replacement to meet Lennox’s installation spec and keep the warranty valid.

Why Las Vegas Homeowners Call Halden Heating and Air Las Vegas for Lennox Work
Lennox equipment is common in Las Vegas, but not every contractor installs it correctly. Andre Fuller, our owner, learned the trade at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and spent nearly two decades working on desert HVAC systems before founding this company in 2004. He’s logged more service calls in Summerlin than he can count, and he still remembers the first July he realized a Las Vegas summer is a different animal than anything back home.
We’re certified on Lennox, but we also work on Carrier and Trane so we’re never guessing when a Lennox system has an unusual failure. Every job comes with a written price before work starts, a written guarantee on the installation, and a free return visit if something isn’t right. We also answer the phone 24/7 because a Lennox compressor that dies at midnight on a Saturday in August doesn’t care about business hours.
FAQs
No. As an independent Lennox service provider, we install to Lennox’s published specifications, which keeps your factory warranty intact. The requirement is correct installation, not dealer authorization. We verify all installation steps against Lennox’s current documentation before we finish the job.
Most installations are scheduled within 3 to 7 days of your written quote. During peak summer months in Las Vegas, that may stretch to 10 days for high-demand equipment. Pop a question our way at (725) 220-3488 and we’ll tell you the real availability before you commit to anything.
If your Lennox is under 10 years old and the repair is under $650, repair usually makes sense. If it’s over 12 years old, leaking refrigerant, or needs a compressor replacement, you’re better off putting that money toward a new unit. We’ll show you the math for your specific situation and let you decide.
NV Energy offers rebates on high-efficiency Lennox models, and Lennox occasionally runs manufacturer promotions. We handle the rebate paperwork so you don’t have to. Financing is available through our partners and we’ll walk you through the terms before you sign anything. Call (725) 220-3488 for current rebate amounts on the specific Lennox model you’re considering.
No. Estimates are free and the price we quote is the price you pay. If we find something during installation that requires a change in scope, we stop and get your approval in writing before proceeding. No surprise invoices at the door.
